Iranians take part in the funeral ceremony of the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Tehran, Iran

The streets of Tehran were filled with state-orchestrated displays of mourning as the regime held a funeral procession for the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Khamenei, who spent decades threatening the existence of Israel and sponsoring global instability, was eliminated in a decisive joint air strike by the United States and Israel four months ago.

The procession, which saw mourners waving flags and calling for vengeance, serves as a desperate attempt by the Iranian regime to maintain control while facing the consequences of its own aggression.

While state media touted the presence of millions, the reality remains that the regime's leadership has been shattered, with Khamenei's successor, Mojtaba, remaining in hiding after being wounded in the same operation.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz made the position clear: the elimination of Khamenei was a necessary act of self-defense, and any future leader who attempts to threaten Israel will face the same fate.

Despite ongoing negotiations in Doha aimed at ending the war and addressing Iran's rogue nuclear program, the regime continues its tradition of anti-American rhetoric, even as it seeks a path to lift the sanctions that have crippled its economy.

The funeral ceremonies are set to continue across Iran and Iraq, but the message from the international community remains unchanged: American strength and the defense of our allies will not be deterred by the theatrics of a failing theocracy.
