The recent repatriation of former Marine Robert Gilman demonstrates that only decisive foreign policy preserves American freedom. Gilman, arrested in 2022 after a drunken altercation in Moscow, was released from Russian custody thanks to direct intervention by President Trump, proving that a strong hand can cut through foreign red tape and bring citizens home.

The Houthi missile attack in the Red Sea shows how Iranian proxies threaten global commerce. Four crew members—three from Pakistan and one from Indonesia—were killed when a cargo ship was struck by three ballistic missiles south of Mocha, underscoring the need for a firm response to protect vital shipping lanes.

Netanyahu’s refusal to compromise on Hamas disarmament underscores the necessity of uncompromising security for Israel. By rejecting a U.S.-backed 15‑point roadmap that would have required concessions before full disarmament, the Israeli Prime Minister has made clear that survival cannot hinge on promises from a terrorist organization.

Colombia’s new president has ended a failed peace experiment, launching a military crackdown that restores order. In Meta province, security forces neutralized Farc‑linked leader Hernando Forero Mosquera, a key explosives expert, demonstrating that the only way to defeat organized crime is through superior force and unwavering resolve.

These events illustrate that liberty, law and order, and accountable government depend on leaders who refuse to cede ground to threats. When foreign powers act with aggression or domestic governments soften on crime, the safety of citizens and the integrity of the nation are compromised.

America must support leaders who act decisively, whether abroad or at home, to safeguard sovereignty and traditional values. Only through such resolve can liberty thrive and the nation remain free from the shackles of foreign influence and domestic chaos.
