Strength and Accountability Must Define the New American Era

Decisive military action, tech oversight, and judicial accountability are essential to restoring national sovereignty.

The era of American hesitation is over. From the battlefields of the Middle East to the high-stakes laboratories of Silicon Valley, the United States is finally reclaiming the initiative through a policy of strength and uncompromising accountability.

The recent military strikes against Iranian terror infrastructure prove that American power is most effective when it is used decisively. By neutralizing IRGC command centers and missile facilities in response to failed ballistic missile assaults on U.S. personnel, the military has sent an unmistakable message: attacks on American forces will be met with immediate and devastating consequences.

This resolve must extend to the digital frontier. The reckless behavior of AI firms like OpenAI, which has allowed its tools to be used in security breaches, cannot be permitted to undermine national interests. As foreign adversaries like China engage in the industrial-scale theft of American intellectual property, the administration’s pivot toward active oversight is not just prudent—it is a necessity for survival in a world of technological warfare.

True sovereignty also requires that those in power are held to the same laws as the citizens they serve. The spectacle of Anthony Fauci invoking the Fifth Amendment over 100 times to avoid questioning regarding his pandemic-era conduct is a profound affront to government transparency. When bureaucrats use legal shields to stonewall investigations into their shifting narratives, they erode the very foundation of public trust.

Restoring order to the federal apparatus requires seasoned leadership. The confirmation of Jay Clayton as Director of National Intelligence provides the stability needed to move past the chaos of recent leadership transitions. A veteran prosecutor is exactly what is required to manage the intelligence community and resolve the legislative gridlock surrounding critical national security tools like FISA.

America cannot afford to be a nation of loopholes and vulnerabilities. Whether it is striking back at state-sponsored terror, regulating the risks of artificial intelligence, or demanding answers from unelected officials, the path forward is clear: strength, security, and the rule of law must prevail.
