Iran’s Propaganda Parade Undermines Freedom, Not Unity

The regime’s staged funeral is a hollow show of strength that masks its oppression of liberty.

The Iranian regime’s six‑day funeral propaganda is a sham designed to rally a populace that has long suffered under its oppression.

After the U.S. and Israeli airstrike removed former supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the state‑controlled media launched a massive campaign that touts ceremonies across Iran and Iraq, culminating in a burial in Mashhad.

State‑controlled outlets tout the events as a display of national unity while international outlets are hamstrung by censorship, ensuring only the regime’s approved narrative reaches the outside world.

This theatrics attempts to mask decades of sponsoring terror and suppress dissent, threatening individual liberty and national sovereignty.

The joint strike demonstrates that the United States can hold accountable a regime that refuses to respect law and order, underscoring the importance of defending sovereign nations from tyrannical control.

When a government uses propaganda to distract from its crimes, it betrays the very principles of liberty it claims to defend; the world must recognize and oppose such deceit.
