Yemeni pro-government forces, supported by the Saudi-led coalition, have launched a decisive offensive aimed at dismantling the Houthi movement's control over critical infrastructure.

As part of 'Operation Yemen Dawn,' military units—including the National Shield and Giants Brigades—have pushed to secure the Bab al-Mandab Strait, a vital artery for global shipping.

While reports regarding the status of the city of Mokha remain fluid, government forces have successfully seized the Dhubab military airfield and are actively engaging Houthi fighters who have long held the region hostage.

This offensive comes as a necessary response to the Houthis’ escalating campaign of terror, which includes launching ballistic missiles and drones at Saudi civilian airports and critical oil facilities like those at Riyadh and Khurais.

The Houthis, acting as proxies for Iranian interests, have attempted to disrupt international trade by threatening the Red Sea waterway. In response, the Saudi-led coalition has provided relentless air support, neutralizing hundreds of high-value targets.

Despite the predictable propaganda from Houthi-aligned media, the reality is that the internationally recognized Yemeni government is finally moving to liberate its people from the grip of a militia that has devastated the nation since 2014.

With allies like Turkey and Pakistan reinforcing their commitment to regional stability, the mission to restore order and push back against this terrorist insurgency is well underway.
