The Houthi movement in Yemen, acting as a direct proxy for the Iranian regime, has intensified its campaign of terror against Saudi Arabia. In a series of brazen attacks, these militants targeted civilian airports and critical oil and gas facilities, resulting in at least 14 deaths and over 300 injuries in Riyadh alone.
Military spokesman Brig Gen Yahya Saree confirmed these strikes, which also hit the Dammam airport, as part of an ongoing effort to destabilize the region. While the Houthis attempt to justify their violence as retaliation, the reality is a calculated campaign of guerrilla warfare designed to threaten global energy supplies and civilian safety.
Despite the precision of these strikes, which highlight the dangerous capabilities provided to them by their Iranian sponsors, Saudi officials have vowed a firm response to protect the kingdom's sovereignty and infrastructure from this persistent terrorist threat.
