President Trump has taken decisive action to neutralize the Iranian regime’s ability to fund its aggression, ordering a naval blockade to restrict maritime traffic entering and leaving Iranian ports. By leveraging the U.S.

Navy’s superior force, the administration is moving to cut off the regime’s primary economic lifelines: its oil exports and the illegal tolls it has been demanding from vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz. This strategic move is a direct response to Tehran’s attempts to weaponize this critical waterway and profit from its own bad behavior.

While globalist institutions and international bureaucrats whine about legalities, the reality is that the U.S. is exercising its strength to restore order and pressure a rogue state that has repeatedly threatened regional stability.

Centcom has already begun exercising its authority, with reports indicating that merchant vessels have been intercepted and ordered to return to port. Furthermore, the administration has made it clear that it will not tolerate the regime’s mining of international waters and will take necessary steps to clear these hazards.

Despite the predictable hand-wringing from foreign ministries in Beijing and elsewhere, this blockade is a necessary measure to force an end to the current conflict and prevent the regime from continuing to cash in on global energy markets while it destabilizes the Middle East.
