Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has been forced to walk back his behavior after making inappropriate remarks during a recent appearance on the 'Bush Deep' podcast.

During the interview with comedian Nikki Osborne, the Prime Minister was asked to participate in a 'shag, marry or date' game involving popstar Kylie Minogue, actress Nicole Kidman, and entertainer Rhonda Burchmore. Albanese chose Minogue, a response that triggered immediate and widespread condemnation.

Members of Parliament were quick to rebuke the Prime Minister, with critics labeling the comments 'entirely inappropriate' and arguing that such behavior demeans the dignity of the office he holds.

Facing the fallout, Albanese issued a brief, one-line statement on Monday morning stating, 'I apologise unequivocally for the comments.' The incident serves as a stark reminder that even the highest-ranking government officials are expected to maintain a level of decorum that the Prime Minister failed to uphold.
