The era of coddling the Iranian regime is officially over. After a series of hostile attacks on commercial tankers in the vital Strait of Hormuz, the Trump administration has made it clear that the previous ceasefire agreement is null and void.

U.S. officials have issued an ultimatum to Tehran: publicly pledge to keep the waterway open and cease all fire against commercial vessels, or face the consequences of American resolve.

While Iranian officials have attempted to hide behind the excuse of a 'mistake' and blamed rogue elements for the aggression, the U.S. military responded with decisive force, striking approximately 90 targets across Iran.

This decisive action serves as a necessary reminder that the United States will not tolerate threats to global energy security or its allies.

President Trump has confirmed that while diplomatic channels remain open for now, the administration is operating from a position of strength, with Vice-President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio leading the oversight of future engagement.

Furthermore, the President issued a stern warning regarding reports of Iranian assassination plots, stating clearly that any such attempt would result in the total destruction of the areas responsible.

As the regime in Tehran continues to spout rhetoric about vengeance following the elimination of their former leader, the United States remains committed to protecting its interests and ensuring that the world's most important shipping lanes remain free from the reach of state-sponsored terror.
