The Trump administration is taking decisive action to restore order at the border, utilizing third-country removals to deport illegal aliens and protect American communities.

Since the return of President Trump to the White House in 2025, over 500 individuals have been removed from the U.S. in a move that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) identifies as an essential public safety tool. This policy directly fulfills a key campaign pledge to prioritize the removal of dangerous criminal illegal aliens from our streets.

While activist groups like Human Rights Watch attempt to frame these removals as a violation of international norms, the DHS maintains that it secures diplomatic assurances from destination countries to ensure the safety of those being removed.

Once an individual is no longer in ICE custody, the U.S. government has fulfilled its obligation to remove those who broke the law to enter our country. The administration’s focus remains clear: enforcing the rule of law and deterring future illegal migration.

Despite the hand-wringing from organizations that prioritize the comfort of foreign nationals over the sovereignty of the United States, the policy is effectively removing those who have no legal right to be on American soil.
