The United States has launched a decisive series of strikes against Iranian military infrastructure, targeting air-defense systems, radar sites, and missile and drone capabilities.

This necessary show of force by Centcom comes as a direct response to Iran’s continued unwarranted aggression and its attempt to unilaterally choke off the Strait of Hormuz, a vital artery for global energy markets.

While the Iranian regime continues its pattern of harassment and arbitrary declarations, the U.S. military has made it clear that freedom of navigation will be defended.

Despite Iranian state media reports of casualties and claims of retaliatory strikes against U.S. bases in Kuwait, Jordan, and Bahrain, the mission remains focused on neutralizing threats to international shipping. The escalating conflict has already sent oil prices climbing, a predictable consequence of Tehran’s belligerence.

President Trump has correctly identified that Iran’s ongoing hostility has rendered the previous interim ceasefire agreement effectively void. As the regime in Tehran continues to lash out, the U.S. remains positioned to ensure that American interests and the stability of global commerce are not held hostage by a state sponsor of terror.
