The true face of the Russian invasion was laid bare this week as Ukrainian police released harrowing bodycam footage documenting a calculated 'double-tap' bombing in the village of Kamyshuvakha. The video, recovered from a fallen officer, captures the horrific moments after an initial strike as residents scrambled for safety in an underground shelter.

Seconds later, a second massive blast—part of a barrage of nine heavy gliding bombs—obliterated the shelter, burying dozens of civilians alive. President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that at least 40 people were killed in the attack, with more than 30 still trapped beneath the rubble as rescue efforts enter their third day.

The Russian military, true to form, has offered no comment on the massacre, which targeted a school being used to distribute humanitarian aid. While the world remains largely silent, Zelensky has rightly condemned the strike as yet another war crime in a long list of Russian atrocities.

As the Kremlin intensifies its assault to exploit Ukraine’s dwindling supply of Western-provided air defenses, the reality of this conflict remains clear: Moscow continues to wage a war of annihilation against the Ukrainian people.

Meanwhile, diplomatic efforts continue in the background, with Zelensky’s team engaging with U.S. envoys ahead of upcoming trilateral negotiations in Abu Dhabi, though analysts remain skeptical that Moscow has any intention of abandoning its campaign of terror.
