Ukraine is escalating its efforts to dismantle the Russian occupation of Crimea, launching a wave of drone strikes that have hit critical fuel supplies and transport routes. Russian-installed authorities report that four people were killed in recent attacks, including strikes on Simferopol and a commuter train headed for Kerch.
While Ukrainian officials maintain they target only military assets, the strikes have caused significant disruptions, forcing fuel rationing in Sevastopol and creating logistical headaches for the Kremlin.
This campaign is part of a wider tactical shift by Kyiv, which has increasingly utilized its growing domestic defense sector to strike deep behind enemy lines.
