President Trump has taken decisive action to keep the path to peace open, announcing a suspension of planned sanctions against Russia just days before they were set to trigger.

The President made it clear that his priority is ending the conflict, stating on Truth Social that he refuses to foolishly drive Moscow away from the negotiating table while he works to broker a resolution.

While critics and Ukrainian leadership continue to push for a hardline approach, the President is focusing on the reality of the situation, noting that a deal could have been reached years ago had the parties involved been more pragmatic.

The move has been welcomed by Russian officials, who acknowledged that the sanctions would have caused unnecessary damage to the global economy. Tensions between Washington and Kyiv have been high, with President Zelensky publicly questioning the administration's strategy and criticizing recent trade decisions.

However, President Trump remains focused on his objective, dismissing the rhetoric from Kyiv and emphasizing that his primary duty is to achieve an end to the fighting rather than perpetuating a stalemate.
