Trump Holds Firm: No Deal With Iran Without Total Nuclear Disarmament

President Trump demands an end to Iran's nuclear ambitions and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz before any further concessions are made.

President Trump met with his top national security aides in the White House Situation Room to finalize his stance on a potential ceasefire extension with Iran, emerging with a clear message: the United States will not be played. While officials had previously discussed a memorandum of understanding, the President remains steadfast in his red lines.

He has made it clear that any deal must ensure Iran never possesses a nuclear weapon and that the Strait of Hormuz is fully reopened to unrestricted shipping. The President also demanded the destruction of Iran's enriched uranium stockpiles, signaling that the era of appeasement is over.

Predictably, the Iranian regime has reacted with hostility, with advisers to the Supreme Leader accusing the U.S. of 'betraying diplomacy'—a transparent attempt to mask their own defiance of international norms. Despite Iran’s claims that their nuclear program is peaceful, the administration is rightly focused on the reality of the threat.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth underscored the U.S. position of strength, noting that our military stockpiles are well-prepared should the need for further action arise.

As the regime continues to violate ceasefire terms—including recent attacks on U.S. assets in Kuwait—it is clear that Iran is not a partner interested in peace, but a hostile actor that only understands the language of American resolve.

President Trump has correctly prioritized American interests over the hollow promises of a regime that continues to hold global energy supplies hostage.
