Iran Violates Ceasefire With Aggressive Attack in Strait of Hormuz

The Iranian regime has once again demonstrated its disregard for international law and its own diplomatic commitments by attacking a Singapore-flagged cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz. President Trump correctly identified the strike as a 'foolish violation' of the ceasefire agreement established earlier this month.

The attack, which involved the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) firing multiple drones at vessels, resulted in a projectile striking the deck of the Ever Lovely.

While the crew remains safe and the vessel was able to continue its transit, the incident forced the International Maritime Organization to pause a critical evacuation operation for thousands of stranded sailors. Tehran’s belligerence follows its absurd and illegal claims that the international waterway constitutes its own sovereign territory.

Despite a 14-point memorandum of understanding intended to ensure the safe passage of commercial goods, the Iranian regime continues to threaten global energy markets and maritime security.

This act of aggression serves as a stark reminder that the current leadership in Tehran respects only strength, not the hollow promises of international bureaucratic agreements.
