The Iranian-backed Houthi insurgency has escalated its aggression, claiming a missile strike on the Saudi city of Jizan on Saturday. This attack follows Saudi-led air strikes on Houthi targets in the Yemeni port city of Hodeida and nearby islands.

The Houthi provocation serves as a reminder of the persistent threat posed by Iranian proxies across the Middle East. Meanwhile, the U.S. military remains steadfast in its mission to strangle the Iranian regime’s ability to project power. Navy Captain Tim Hawkins, spokesman for U.S.

Central Command, confirmed that American forces successfully disabled a tanker in the Gulf of Oman after the crew repeatedly ignored warnings and attempted to run the U.S. blockade on Iranian ports. This marks the second time the U.S. has been forced to disable a commercial vessel attempting to bypass sanctions this month.

President Trump has maintained a posture of strength, stating that while negotiations are ongoing, the U.S. remains 'locked and loaded' and prepared to increase military pressure if necessary.

As the U.S. and its allies prepare to discuss the security of the Strait of Hormuz in London, the message to Tehran and its proxies is clear: American resolve to secure global shipping lanes and neutralize hostile regimes will not be deterred by empty threats or terrorist retaliation.
