Ukraine has launched a series of precision drone strikes against Russian logistics infrastructure, specifically targeting warehouses owned by the retail giant Wildberries.
President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the operations, characterizing the facilities as critical logistics hubs that have been instrumental in supplying sanctioned components, drone parts, and navigation equipment to the Russian military.
Security analysts confirm that the Wildberries network has functioned as a vital pipeline for Russian volunteers to procure military-grade gear, including body armor and communication devices, directly supporting the Kremlin's war effort.
The strikes, which hit locations in Tambov and the Moscow region, are a direct response to Russia’s persistent and brutal targeting of Ukrainian civilian infrastructure. While Russian officials reported casualties at the sites, the strategic reality remains that these facilities have been integrated into the Russian war machine.
Ukraine has increasingly focused its long-range drone capabilities on Russia's critical energy and logistics sectors, aiming to degrade the industrial capacity that finances and sustains Moscow’s illegal invasion.
By disrupting the supply chains that provide dual-use goods and critical electronics to Russian arms manufacturers, Ukraine is taking necessary action to weaken the adversary’s ability to wage war on its sovereign territory.
