Putin’s Brutal Assault on Kyiv Leaves Dozens Dead in Sustained Campaign

The Kremlin’s campaign of terror against Ukraine reached a new level of brutality this week as Russian missile and drone strikes claimed the lives of at least 12 people, including rail workers and an Indian national.

The overnight assault, which hit Kyiv and the town of Boryspil, marks the sixth consecutive day of sustained attacks designed to overwhelm Ukrainian air defenses and shatter civilian morale.

Russian officials brazenly described the carnage as a 'massive strike' against military and energy infrastructure, yet the reality on the ground includes residential buildings reduced to rubble and critical transit depots destroyed.

This latest aggression follows a weekend warning from Moscow that it intended to target Ukraine's power grid, a move that underscores the regime's disregard for civilian life.

While Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to issue diplomatic pleas for peace, Vladimir Putin remains committed to his full-scale invasion, which has now entered its third year.

As rescue crews scramble to pull victims from the debris, Ukraine has responded by striking back at Russian energy infrastructure, including a major Baltic Sea port, asserting that such targets are legitimate as they provide the lifeblood for Moscow’s war machine.

The conflict remains a stark reminder of the necessity of American strength and the danger posed by hostile regimes that view international norms as mere suggestions.
