Prime Minister Andy Burnham has wasted no time in signaling that the UK remains firmly committed to Ukraine, hosting President Volodymyr Zelensky as his first international visitor just one week into his premiership.

During the meeting, Burnham announced that the UK will share the intellectual property for the 'Stone Cloak' electronic warfare system, a sophisticated British-developed device designed to shield drones from detection.

By allowing Ukraine to manufacture these jammers domestically, the UK is ensuring that frontline forces have the tools necessary to counter Russian threats. The Prime Minister emphasized that Britain's resolve is absolute, stating that the nation will not back down until a just peace is achieved.

This technology, already proven in the field, will also be integrated into the UK's future long-range weapons projects, including the development of low-cost cruise missiles. The leaders also reviewed the progress of over 200 Ukrainian personnel participating in Exercise Sea Breeze, a maritime training program focused on Black Sea security.

Since the Russian invasion four years ago, the UK has committed £25 billion in support, a testament to the enduring strategic alliance between London and Kyiv.

Despite the transition in leadership at Downing Street, both Burnham and Zelensky have made it clear that the relationship between the two nations remains a top priority, transcending individual political shifts.
