Beijing resorts to racist propaganda as South China Sea aggression intensifies

China Daily uses dehumanizing AI videos to mock the Philippines while continuing its illegal maritime bullying.

The Chinese Communist Party’s propaganda machine has hit a new low, releasing a racist, AI-generated video that depicts the Philippines as a monkey being bullied by the United States and Japan.

This contemptible display is the latest attempt by Beijing to undermine the 2016 Permanent Court of Arbitration ruling, which soundly rejected China’s expansive and illegal claims in the region.

While the CCP attempts to frame the Philippines as a 'pawn' of foreign powers, it is Beijing that continues to engage in dangerous, escalatory behavior, including the routine use of high-pressure water cannons against Philippine vessels.

Philippine Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro correctly identified the video as a reflection of the 'moral and intellectual bankruptcy' of the Chinese state. Despite Manila’s formal demand for the removal of the offensive content, the video remains live, proving once again that Beijing has no interest in civil discourse or international law.

Instead of adhering to global standards, the CCP continues to utilize its state media to spread misinformation and dehumanize its neighbors, further exposing the aggressive, expansionist nature of its maritime policy.
