When Iranian forces attempted to threaten American ships in the Strait of Hormuz, the US military responded with the decisive action required to maintain order and protect our national interests.

President Trump confirmed that three US destroyers were targeted by Iranian missiles and small boats, but the threat was neutralized as our forces easily intercepted the incoming fire and completely destroyed the hostile Iranian craft.

While the regime in Tehran predictably attempted to play the victim through its state media, the reality remains that the US acted in necessary self-defense against an unprovoked assault.

Despite the skirmish, President Trump has maintained that the ceasefire remains in place, though he underscored that Iran faces significant consequences if they continue to pursue nuclear capabilities.

The market volatility, including a spike in oil prices and rising fuel costs for airlines like IAG, is a direct result of Iranian belligerence in a region that serves as a critical artery for global energy.

While the administration remains open to negotiations, the message to the Iranian leadership is clear: American resolve is not a suggestion, and further aggression will be met with the full force of the United States military.
