The Saudi-led coalition has taken decisive action against the Iran-backed Houthi rebels, striking a fuel facility in Sanaa used by the militants to fuel their campaign of violence. This operation follows a series of deadly attacks by the Houthis, who have repeatedly targeted Saudi airports and oil infrastructure with missiles and drones.

Following the coalition strike, the Houthis attempted to retaliate by launching projectiles toward Riyadh and other Saudi cities. Coalition spokesperson Maj Gen Turki al-Maliki confirmed that these threats were intercepted, successfully protecting Saudi citizens from the militants' indiscriminate aggression.

The Saudi cabinet, led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has made it clear that the Houthi group will bear the full consequences for their ongoing terror campaign, which has already resulted in civilian casualties at King Khalid International Airport.

While the Houthis attempt to frame their attacks as retaliation, the reality is a persistent effort to destabilize the region and threaten global energy security. The coalition remains committed to restoring the internationally recognized government and neutralizing the threat posed by these Iranian proxies.
