The Israeli military continues its campaign to neutralize Hezbollah, the Iran-backed terror organization that has repeatedly violated ceasefire agreements and launched relentless attacks on northern Israel.

Recent air strikes in southern Lebanon, including operations in Nabatieh, Kfar Dounine, and Jabshit, targeted the infrastructure and combatants that Hezbollah uses to threaten Israeli sovereignty.

While Lebanese officials have attempted to frame these strikes as violations of humanitarian norms, the reality remains that Hezbollah operates within civilian areas, using them as staging grounds for their rocket and drone assaults.

The Israeli military confirmed it is targeting Hezbollah fighters and their military assets, noting that the group continues to launch explosive-laden drones at Israeli troops and communities. This conflict, which escalated following joint US-Israeli actions against the regime in Tehran, has seen Hezbollah repeatedly ignore calls for peace.

Israel maintains its right to defend its citizens against an enemy that hides behind civilian infrastructure and utilizes ambulances and rescue missions as cover for its militant activities.

As Israeli and Lebanese officials prepare to meet in Washington, the focus remains on the fact that Hezbollah’s continued aggression is the primary obstacle to any lasting stability in the region.
