The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have taken decisive action to secure the nation, announcing a total closure of all West Bank land crossings for Tuesday’s election. This security measure follows a brutal attack by Palestinian gunmen who murdered two Israeli soldiers and wounded three others at a checkpoint.

In response to this escalation, the IDF has implemented a strict ban on the entry and exit of Palestinian workers throughout Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley.

While the left-wing media and local agitators attempt to frame these defensive measures as political theater, the reality is that the Israeli government is fulfilling its primary obligation: protecting its citizens from those who seek to destroy them.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has signaled that the response to such violence will be significant, as the military continues operations to neutralize threats in the region. Despite criticism from those who prefer to prioritize the movement of workers over the lives of soldiers, the Israeli government remains focused on accountability.

The operation, which includes the demolition of structures used by those who carry out attacks, is a standard and necessary deterrent against terrorism. As the nation heads to the polls, the focus remains on national sovereignty and the unwavering defense of the Jewish state against those who would target its people.
