Israel has taken necessary action to dismantle Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in Beirut, striking key targets in the Dahieh district. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the operation was a direct response to Hezbollah's repeated violations of the ceasefire and their continued firing of projectiles into Israeli territory.

Despite international pressure to exercise restraint, Israel remains committed to neutralizing the threats posed by the Iran-backed group, which has consistently used civilian areas as shields for its military operations. The Israeli military confirmed it intercepted projectiles launched by Hezbollah, which targeted Israeli artillery positions and troops.

While Hezbollah leadership continues to reject peace efforts and refuses to disarm, Israel is asserting its sovereign right to defend its citizens from constant aggression.

President Trump has clarified that no American troops will be deployed to Beirut, maintaining a firm stance as the region navigates the fallout of Hezbollah's persistent refusal to cease its hostilities.
