The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have dealt a decisive blow to Hezbollah, leveling a massive underground terror complex beneath the Ali Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon. Utilizing over 1,000 tonnes of explosives, the operation effectively dismantled two kilometers of tunnels that served as a command center for Hezbollah’s Badr unit.
The sheer scale of the destruction was so significant that the US Geological Survey recorded the blast as a magnitude 4.1 earthquake.
This facility was not merely a bunker; it was a strategic arsenal containing dozens of rockets, missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and anti-tank weapons—all funded and planned by the Iranian terror regime over the last twenty years. The IDF confirmed that all terrorists present within the infrastructure were either eliminated or forced to flee.
This operation marks the completion of a mission to destroy eight tunnels and reinforce a security zone intended to protect Israeli citizens from further aggression.
While international bodies and local reports focus on the displacement of residents and the seismic impact of the strike, the reality remains that Israel is systematically dismantling a terror infrastructure that has threatened its sovereignty for decades.
As the IDF continues to hold ground in southern Lebanon, the mission remains clear: neutralizing the Iranian-backed threats that have turned the region into a launchpad for attacks against the Jewish state.
