Israel continues to target Hezbollah strongholds in southern Lebanon, conducting drone strikes and jet sorties in the region to neutralize the Iran-backed terror group.

These operations persist despite recent comments from President Donald Trump, who urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to exercise greater responsibility regarding the intensity of the conflict.

While the President has emphasized his pivotal role in supporting Israel's existence, he has voiced disapproval of specific strikes, citing the duration of the fighting and the resulting casualties. The reality on the ground remains that Hezbollah is an active aggressor, having recently injured five Israeli soldiers in a drone attack.

Prime Minister Netanyahu has remained steadfast, declaring that Israeli forces will maintain their presence in Lebanon for as long as necessary to ensure national security. Meanwhile, the Iranian regime has issued typical threats of a 'harsh response,' and Hezbollah leadership is attempting to frame the ongoing US-Iran diplomatic developments as a victory.

Despite international pressure and the complexities of the reported US-Iran memorandum of understanding, Israel continues to prioritize the defense of its sovereignty against a persistent terrorist threat that has plagued its northern border.
