The United States has officially launched what Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent described as an 'economic D-Day' against the Iranian regime, a comprehensive financial assault designed to isolate the rogue state from the global economy.

This aggressive new strategy, dubbed 'Operation Economic Outcast,' targets Iran's financial networks, including the digital asset, technology, gold, aviation, and shipping sectors.

By imposing sanctions on nearly 60 entities, individuals, and vessels, the administration is making it clear that the era of managing the Iranian threat is over—the goal is to end it.

Secretary Bessent issued a stern warning to foreign governments and businesses: those who choose to bankroll Tehran’s aggression will no longer be able to claim ignorance and will face the consequences of their complicity.

While the Iranian regime has postured, claiming to be 'fully prepared' for these measures and threatening to further disrupt the Strait of Hormuz, the reality is that the regime is facing unprecedented pressure.

Despite the predictable defiance from Beijing and the regime’s own desperate rhetoric, the U.S. is moving to systematically dismantle the financial channels Iran has used to evade previous restrictions.

As global energy prices remain a point of concern, this decisive action marks a necessary return to a policy of maximum pressure, holding the Iranian regime accountable for its destabilizing behavior and its ongoing war against global stability.
