President Trump arrived in Beijing for a two-day summit, engaging in a series of meetings with President Xi Jinping to navigate the complex relationship between the world's two largest powers. The visit included a formal arrival ceremony at the Great Hall of the People, where the leaders inspected Chinese troops and were greeted by local youths.

The delegation accompanying the President is notable for its inclusion of major American business figures, including Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Apple CEO Tim Cook, BlackRock's Larry Fink, and Nvidia's Jensen Huang, alongside Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and members of the Trump family.

During the bilateral talks, both leaders emphasized the importance of their communication, with Trump noting that they have historically resolved difficulties quickly through direct dialogue. Xi described the meeting as a historic occasion, suggesting that the national goals of both countries could potentially align.

The visit also featured a tour of the historic Temple of Heaven and a formal banquet at the Great Hall of the People. President Trump has extended an invitation for President Xi and his wife to visit the White House this September.
