Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents executed a judicially authorized search warrant at the home of Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar on Monday morning, marking a significant development in an ongoing federal criminal investigation.

A Department of Justice spokesperson confirmed the search was part of a federal probe, though specific details regarding the nature of the investigation remain under seal. Reports indicate the investigation centers on immigration paperwork filed by Omar’s late father during her childhood.

While Representative Omar and her political allies have dismissed the search as a politically motivated act of intimidation, supporters of the rule of law maintain that no individual, regardless of their status in Congress, is above the scrutiny of federal investigators.

Representative Tom Emmer of Minnesota echoed this sentiment, stating, 'Nobody is above the law. We look forward to learning more details about this raid and investigation.

ACCOUNTABILITY IS COMING!' The search comes after months of public scrutiny regarding the Congresswoman's immigration history, including past allegations of marital fraud and questions surrounding her eligibility to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives.

As the investigation proceeds, the focus remains on whether the legal requirements for citizenship and immigration compliance were met by the Representative.
