This rejection comes despite a framework that would have established essential security zones inside Lebanon to keep Hezbollah operatives away from the border.
The proposed deal was rightfully contingent on a complete cessation of attacks by Hezbollah, a group correctly designated as a terrorist organization by the United States, the United Kingdom, and Israel.
