Patriotism on Parade: Border Patrol and Space Force Surge in Recruitment at Colorado Rodeo

As the Trump administration prioritizes national security, thousands of young Americans are answering the call to serve in the military and on the front lines of our borders.

The intersection of American grit and national duty was on full display at the Air Force Academy’s Falcon Stadium this weekend, where the U.S. Border Patrol and Space Force capitalized on a massive rodeo event to bolster their ranks.

As President Trump doubles down on his commitment to secure our borders and expand our reach into space, the message is resonating with a new generation of patriots.

The numbers tell the story: the Border Patrol has seen a 44% increase in applications between January and April 2025 compared to the previous year, with the agency recently surpassing 21,000 agents for the first time in its history.

This surge follows the administration’s decisive action to mandate the hiring of 3,000 new agents and allocate $70 billion toward border security. For many young recruits, the appeal is clear: a desire to protect the homeland, combat human trafficking, and stop the flow of illicit drugs.

While the left continues to debate the merits of border enforcement, these recruits are stepping up to fill the ranks, incentivized by significant signing bonuses and the opportunity to serve their country.

Meanwhile, the Space Force is also seeing exponential growth, exceeding its recruitment goals by 125% as it positions itself to protect American interests in the final frontier.

Whether it is securing the southern border or dominating the space domain, the message from the American public is clear: there is a deep, abiding hunger to serve a nation that is finally prioritizing its own strength and security.
